About me:

I trained at the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa. I then continued my surgical training in Johannesburg Teaching Hospitals. Later taking up further specialist training at St Bartholomew’s and Oldchurch Hospitals (London and Essex).

I have been working as a consultant paediatric neurosurgeon since July 1992. After being chief of my department for several years, I now co-chair the committee for Clinical Excellence Awards. I sit as a member of the Trigeminal Neuralgia Association Medical Advisory Board (UK) and as a member of the council of the Medical Defence Union.
