Director of Surgical Neuro-oncology at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore and Professor of Clinical Neurological Surgery and Clinical Pediatrics at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Abbott

I have held numerous posts in national and international pediatric neurosurgery organizations, and have edited a volume of Neurosurgery Clinics of North America titled Clinical Neuroendoscopy. I am the Editor-in-Chief for a web-based textbook on pediatric neurosurgery, The ISPN Guide to Pediatric Neurosurgery. I have authored journal articles on hydrocephalus and neuroendoscopy including management of complicated shunted hydrocephalus, treatment of cerebral palsy, brachial plexus injuries in children and tumors in the nervous systems of children. I have also worked South America, Africa and Asia to instruct in the use of neuroendoscopy for the treatment of hydrocephalus and other topics of pediatric neurosurgery.
