I am a consultant neurosurgeon based in Liverpool in the United Kingdom. My training was completed at the Catholic University of Rome, before undertaking fellowships at Great Ormond Street Hospital in London and Birmingham Children’s hospital. Specialist interests include epilepsy surgery, craniofacial surgery and fetal CNS anomalies.

The SDR technique is available in the States and used for the treatment of cerebral palsy, however it is not widely available in the UK. The surgery is performed to reduce spasticity, improve function, improve walking and to increase the range of motion and improve body positioning.
