I currently work as a Consultant Paediatric and Adult Neurosurgeon in the Royal Hospital for Sick Children and Western General Hospital in Edinburgh since April 2014. I gained significant experience during my training by working in multiple major neurosurgical centres across the UK (Derriford Hospital Plymouth, Sheffield Teaching Hospital, University Hospital in Cardiff, Royal Hospital in Belfast) and the Republic of Ireland (Beaumont Hospital, Dublin & Cork University Hospital, Cork). During my undergraduate degree in Medicine from Pondicherry University (JIPMER) in India, I won a Gold Medal for my undergraduate exam results. I finished my neurosurgical training in the Irish Republic. More recently I received the Kamal Sayed Prize for Neurosurgery by the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland & IICN (2012).
